ROB SEITZ, he/him
ARTS EDUCATION COORDINATOR

 is an arts education professional with 17 years of teaching and curriculum development experience in and out of school time. Since 2021 Seitz has supported Spiral Q’s partner relationships with schools and community organizations, managed new program inquiries, and coordinated staffing and program development. A teaching artist with Spiral Q since 2019, Seitz has developed and taught over 20 in and out-of-school arts residencies at all grade levels. These residencies have been hosted in school classrooms, after-school programs, cultural organizations, summer camps, public spaces, and virtual settings. Rob’s lesson plans engage students in a range of art techniques including drawing, painting, portraiture, found object sculpture, collage, typography, comics illustration, storytelling, puppet building, costume design, digital art skills, mask making, graphic design, screen printing, and improvisational theater games. After teaching as in-school staff for years at private and charter schools he realized that community art programs focused on social justice are is his true calling. Previous to Spiral Q, Seitz has also worked at University City Arts League, The Print Center, Arts for All in Tucson, AZ and served as visual arts director at Heads Up Lancaster. Seitz holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University and a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Art K-12
