Our year of programming begins with an exhibition featuring artwork from Spiral Q’s collection in Grounds for Sculpture‘s Domestic Arts Building. Spiral Q: The Parade lifts up the work of Spiral Q’s community of artists, activists, students, and neighbors over the last 26 years. With the flood and loss of much of our collection in 2021, it is a poignant moment to take stock and lift up the surviving artwork as well as to highlight the incredible work that has been created since.
Throughout the year we will be providing hands-on opportunities for Grounds for Sculptures’ communities to reflect and name what is important to them, and to create art. This includes an expansive residency at Artworks Trenton where we will work with a variety of community-based groups to create art for a procession to take place at Grounds for Sculpture this Summer.
