2PM(ish) A Tiny Giant Puppet Pageant – at Clark Park, 45th & Chester

PEOPLEHOOD is Spiral Q’s annual artistic response to the times. It is our joyful and festive demonstration that we as people can come together, grapple with the issues of the day, and respond meaningfully in the streets.

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and join us for the 14th annual Peoplehood!
JUMP on in! Everyone is always welcome, whenever and wherever you jump in. So just show up, if is two or twenty of you.

IF you would like to be a part of this year’s PARADE and walk with us, please arrive at the Paul Robeson House (50th and Walnut) at noon so we can kick off the parade on time at 1PM. The parade will wind its way through West Philly and end at Clark Park (45th and Chester) where the PAGEANT will begin around 2PM.

We have plenty of puppets and flags for folks to carry. Or if you’re the quieter type, you can help other groups with theirs or be a parade marshal.

Audiences are great too! (Though we do confess, we love to recruit a few of you to join in the fun on the field.) So bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy a tiny giant puppet pageant fueled with love and creativity.

Happy Peoplehood! See you there!
