We were happy to loan some puppets and flags from our collection to @carnivalderesistance#powertowardajustfuture parade last week. Check out the earth puppet’s new hands and dress :). Spiral Q loans puppets from our collection, materials and tools, and provides consultation to groups planning demonstrations, rallies, and protests through our Justice Works program. We lead activist groups and volunteers in art making workshops on a seasonal basis. Spiral Q’s support through our justice works program does not necessarily imply endorsement of groups’ positions but aims to amplify energy and visibility and build community as Philadelphia’s robust and diverse activists communities fight for justice.
