Youth Programming

Spiral Q provides a wide variety of in and out of school time programming for youth in the greater Philadelphia area. Our nationally recognized, award-winning arts education programming has been used with youth of all ages from early elementary to high school. From one time drop-in appearances and puppet visits to long-term residencies to full on school wide partnerships, Spiral Q is able to bring arts education to youth in numerous environments using diverse, community building methods. Youth programs lead young people through project based learning experiences that advance arts skills, critical thinking, innovative problem solving, team building and collaboration, and resourcefulness. Philosophy
At Spiral Q, we believe that youth development and artistic expression go hand in hand. Our staff and teaching artists aim to support youth as confident and creative individuals who are proud of who they are and where they come from. Our award- winning education programming encourages students and youth to imagine, and to think creatively and critically about the world around them. Youth are inspired to develop a new understanding of their culture, their neighborhood, and their community. The Spiral Q classroom becomes a lab for change they want to see in the world, and they start to understand their capacity to make that change occur.
 
Drop in programs
