TONIGHT! “We Remain: Our Legacy, Our Light” will be performed at 6:30 at West Philly High during the West District Final Planning meeting. Created in a partnership between Spiral Q (with special guest artists Rachel Adler, Lena Lewis, and Donna Oblongata), The Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, multiple city agencies, and West Philly community members, Spiral Q’s Crank It Up West Philly project highlights neighborhood stories of Mantua and Belmont in order to stand in resistance to gentrification and displacement and to value the people who are here and have been here as the neighborhood continues to be looked at for development.
