James Dupree Art Show Opening

Artist James Dupree and Rashida from @thesilktent at his opening at Art on the Ave last Friday. Rashida is holding the Arts & Culture poster that James designed as part of Spiral Q’s Lancaster Ave poster project “The Bottom Branding a Bustling Ave”- his artwork for the poster was inspired by Rashida and The Silk Tent as neighborhood artists engaged with businesses and community members around the history and the culture of Lancaster Ave. The back part of his show at Art on the Ave reveals his artistic process in the creation of this and his Health & Beauty Poster. @lisc_philly
