ABOUT PEOPLEHOOD

It is the 15th annual Peoplehood!
Peoplehood is a joyful and festive demonstration that we as people can come together, grapple with the issues of the day, and respond meaningfully in the streets. This year’s parade ends at the park with a performance potluck – we’ll set the stage, you bring the show.

JOIN THE PARADE: Jump on in! Everyone is always welcome. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to 50th and Walnut at NOON to join the parade line-up and let us know if you’d like your group or organization to participate by filling out this form or giving us a call.

VOLUNTEER: It takes people to make Peoplehood a success! Parade set-up, safety marshals, and flyering along the route among many other roles. Let us know you’re interested!

WATCH IT HAPPEN: See the map of the parade route to cheer us on or welcome us as we enter the park at 45th and Kingsessing.

PERFORM IN THE PARK: This year, we’ll set the stage and you bring the shows! Contact us if you would like to perform your unplugged piece – pageants, poetry, performances of all kinds! Fill out our participation form here.
