Join us at the 13th Peoplehood Parade, celebrating our communities’ creativity, joy, can-do attitudes, and the courage to act on their convictions.
THE PARADE - Steps off at 1PM
From the Paul Robeson House (4951 Walnut St. ) to Clark Park (45th and Chester Ave.)
Join friends, family, and neighbors in this annual giant puppet parade - a parade of community art and voice!

Individuals, families and friends - all all welcome
Come to the Paul Robeson House at noon to get a spot in the parade.
Bring your own puppet, costume, fancy parade outfit, your art and/or your heart and jump into the action or join in a Spiral Q section.
The parade is a wonderful activity for groups of all ages.
From after schools clubs to community associations, to art collectives, to marching bands, to advocacy groups - groups of all ages, shapes and sizes march in Peoplehood each year.

2. Get your group together - Any size is great! - Your group can bring your own parade gear* or you can sign up to carry puppets in one of our sections!
3. Show up - 50th and Walnut at noon - Bring your parade spirit, wear comfortable shoes, pack a snack or a picnic for the park.
* Spiral Q is happy to consult on parade gear or attire for your group.
THE PAGEANT - Around 2:15PM
The parade will be followed by a small giant puppet pageant in the park. Pack your own picnic and enjoy the spectacle or jump into a pageant role around 2PM.
