Spiral Q is giving our giant earth puppet a makeover and you can help! We’re fixing up the earth in preparation for Carnival de Resistance’s Power Toward a Just Future: Parade and Rally on August 2nd.
Also at this event – Join the Carnival de Resistance crew and the Jewish Farm School for a collaborative afternoon of workshops, demonstrations, and skillshares at the Open Kitchen Sculpture Garden! Come and learn about DIY alternative energy projects (such as how to make a hand-crank laundry machine), gardening and home-steading skills (fermentation & composting), and beginner’s Bicycle Repair. Throughout the event, we will also be constructing a large concrete sculpture for the garden and making a giant puppet with Spiral Q. Stay to enjoy the community meal and live music that follows!
