Join us on Saturday, October 29th for the 16th annual Peoplehood, an all-ages people-powered tradition/holiday that brings community together to celebrate our past year, tell our stories, and look forward to building a more just and joyous year ahead. We invite you and your group, in all of your creativity and boldness, to move together with us!

Parade line-up is at noon at 50th and Walnut and the parade steps off at 1PM
Participatory performance in the park around 2pm.

  • Move in the parade! March with us, walk with us, roll through the streets with us! Wheelchairs, bicycles and strollers are welcome (but motorized vehicles are not. We are people-powered).
  • Bring your own banners, signs and artwork, or create something new!
  • You can choose to join a Spiral Q art section!
  • The parade will culminate in Clark Park with a series of participatory art-making activities in honor of our theme. Contact us if you’d like to lead an activity or “table” for your organization in the park!

If you would like to join in contact Liza at lizago@spiralq.org if you have any questions. And please help us spread the word! Individuals, groups of friends and family can drop in and join the parade (no registration necessary, but you can register if you’re so inclined!). The more people, the stronger the Peoplehood.

Please note: the parade route is roughly 1.25 miles. If you want to move in the parade and have limited mobility, meet us along the parade route! Fill out the form above and we’ll be in touch.
